In the commercial property industry whether in property management, construction, or facilities we all face managing Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E). Tenants come and go and those ever-shifting corporate initiatives seem nonstop and we are left staring at a space full of unwanted systems furniture, equipment, fixtures, etc. As you know, most of these things end up in storage or a landfill, and no matter what, they hit our budget somewhere.
My business partner and I have been in the industry for over 30 years. We struggle with this problem on every job. We spent many late nights talking about how to manage this ongoing situation.
